Terms of Service

What you're buying

Chomper is software. It doesn't include AI generation or credits: images, video, voices and music are made by the AI providers you connect (with your own API keys, or your own ChatGPT, Grok or Claude plan), and you pay them directly. You confirm this before checkout.

Beta

Chomper is in beta. Expect some bugs, and features that change as we finish it; keep a backup of work you can't lose. Beta prices are limited and will go up for new buyers. A Lifetime license bought at a beta price gets every later version of the Chomper Mac app at no extra cost; add-ons and any cloud services are sold separately unless your offer includes them. A Monthly subscription keeps its price until we give you at least 30 days' notice of a change, and you can cancel before it applies. You confirm this before checkout.

The license

Buying Chomper gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. A Monthly license works on up to 3 Macs at a time; a Lifetime license works on one Mac at a time. You can move a license by deactivating it on one Mac (Settings → License → Deactivate This Mac) and activating it on another. A Lifetime license works with every version of the Chomper Mac app. It doesn't include online or cloud services we may offer later, such as syncing, cloud rendering or a web version; those are separate, with their own price and terms. Add-ons, such as the Recorder and the Captions Package, are included in a Monthly subscription while it's active; for a Lifetime license each is bought once, unless the offer you bought includes it.

Trial

Chomper is free for 14 days from first launch, with every feature and add-on. After the trial, or when a license ends, new generations stop until a license is entered. Your library, editing, demo mode and exports keep working.

Payment and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax and VAT. Prices include VAT where it applies. A Monthly subscription renews every month until you cancel it in Creem's customer portal; it keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. A promotional price applies to purchases made while the promotion runs; it isn't applied to earlier purchases.

AI providers

Chomper sends generations to the AI providers you connect (for example Kie.ai, fal, ElevenLabs, Google, HeyGen, xAI or Sume) using your own accounts. Their prices, terms and content rules apply to that use, and you pay them directly. We are not responsible for a provider's charges, availability or results.

Your content

What you make with Chomper is yours. You are responsible for it, and for having the rights to the material you use as references, including people's likenesses and voices. Only design or clone a voice with the speaker's permission.

Warranty and liability

Chomper is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or provider charges, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply.

Privacy Policy

Chomper is a Mac app. Your work stays on your Mac, and we collect as little as we can to sell and license it.

On your Mac

Your library, media, stories, prompts and settings are stored on your Mac. Your provider API keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain. Chomper contains no analytics or advertising trackers.

Sent to AI providers

When you start a generation, Chomper sends its prompt and references (images, audio or video) straight from your Mac to the provider you picked for it, under your account with them. Their privacy policies cover that data. Nothing passes through our servers.

Sent to us: licensing

To activate and check your license, Chomper contacts our license server about once a week. It receives your license key and an ID for your Mac. We keep a fingerprint of the key with that ID and Creem's activation ID, so the same Mac can re-activate without using another slot. When you buy, Creem tells our server the order, product and license, so we can count Lifetime price steps and end keys that were refunded or whose subscription ended. The license server runs on Cloudflare.

Payments

Creem collects your payment details and is responsible for them under its own privacy policy. Creem shares your name, email address and order details with us so we can support your purchase. We never see your card number.

This website

This website sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers. Cloudflare serves it and handles your IP address to deliver the pages; we keep no request logs. To show the current Lifetime price and how many licenses are left, your browser asks our license server, which stores nothing about that request. The Captions Package page loads its font samples from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open that page. Payments happen on Creem's checkout, under Creem's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@kindofhuman.com. Deleting your licensing records ends the license's activations.

Refund Policy

Chomper has a 14-day free trial with every feature, so you can be sure before you pay.

If Chomper isn't right for you, write to us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

Refunds are paid by Creem to your original payment method. A refunded license stops working on every Mac, and a refunded add-on is removed from the license it was bought for. Cancelling a Monthly subscription stops the next renewal; the current month is not refunded unless the law requires it.

Money you spent with AI providers is between you and them; we can't refund it.
